My students are AMAZING. As fourth graders, they have a natural tendency to seek an understanding of the world around them. They love learning new things and continuously work towards building their schema. Fortunately, I work at a school with a culture that embraces differences and understands how important those differences can be to the learning process. Unfortunately, not all of my students have access to the resources they need. Although I love knowing that each day I can help to facilitate their learning through authentic learning experiences, I would love to help bridge the gap between students who may not otherwise have access to materials due to socioeconomic constraints.
