In order to do this I need to be able to engage my students on different levels. We have an amazing science curriculum full of key concepts and imagery. However it can be difficult for a student age 7 regardless of ethnicity or home life to visualize a rain forest or the flow of blood through the circulatory system without first having been exposed to strong visual aids.
