With your donation, this rug will be used in my 4th grade math class everyday! This rug will give students the space needed to work with base ten blocks, yard sticks, and containers to study capacity. Sitting together gives them the opportunity to collaborate and create projects, deepening their understanding of the material and improving their social and leadership skills. My students need a space where they can work comfortably in a group, or spread out for a bigger, individual work space. When students want to work in pairs, or small groups, or sit closer to the board, this rug will give them the opportunity!
