Every morning that I come to school I am greeted by 35 ready to learn students who are full of energy and have a mind set to walk away with more knowledge than the previous day. My students are extremely bright, although I feel that they need more of a hands on approach to reading to help them understand concepts better. My students come from a Title I school. Many of these students come from a low income home where they have single parents raising them or often other family members. All my students get free breakfast as well as lunch. My school is making improvements and implementing new teaching strategies to better our students instruction although we lack funding for our students.
