I have some of the most excellent scholars around. They are full of energy and enthusiasm in spite of being from tough homes. Many of my scholars are from low socioeconomic status families, are SPED, and/or ESL. They have an innate desire to learn and be successful. It's been an honor serving them and guiding them along their journey. My school is what some may call a "rough" school. They struggled with state assessments for a number of years, but have started turning things around over the past 3. I see the desire in all I encounter to make our school the best. We have great scholars, educators, and administrators. Our parents are starting to get involved and I'm looking forward to seeing those numbers climb.
