Living in a state where French is a part of the culture, my students are working hard to learn the language and the French culture shared by their families. Being the only French teacher in a small school, my students' ages range from Kindergarten to 5th grade. We share a classroom and the area we have for French class is set to accommodate the various groups of students. While my upper grades students usually are working at the tables, my lower grade students mainly sit on the floor in front of the board. All of my students are eager to learn more about their heritage.
