My students are in the 2nd and 3rd grade. This will be my first year teaching reading, writing, and social studies. The school is an IB Chinese Immersion program. I know that these students are highly intelligent and gifted through their multiple learning styles and intelligences. Though the students do not see this in themselves, I want to help them see how valued they are throughout their academic journey. I want students to feel loved, valued, and safe in my classroom. I want students to know that they are highly gifted in their individual ways and help them reach their academic potential and become a life long learner.
