This project is for a group of over 110 sixth and seventh graders. They are very inquisitive, motivated, and excited to learn. The needs of my students vary greatly. Many students learn new concepts best through concrete examples, pictures, and hands-on models. Some students need computer based tools such as speech to text and auditory assistance to complete tasks at grade level. Our school is located in Chicago. Over 85% of our students come from low-income households and over 30 different languages are spoken at our school.
