My amazing class consists of Special Needs and General Education ten year old 5th grade students working in cooperative groups all over my classroom. I am a strong believer in visual and cooperative learning. Therefore, my students create mini colorful anchor charts, interactive foldable notes and conduct computer base research. I am in constant communication with my parents. I am a teacher who gives my parents my cellular number to keep a family friendly connection. I love my students! Our school is located in the South with nearly ninety percent of the student body eating free or reduced lunch. I would describe my school as a school that promotes Safety, Reading, Common Core State Standards, Teamwork and Leadership.
