In my 3 year tenure of teaching 4th grade students, I have continuously engaged in new and creative ways to educate my students and share my passion for learning. Within our tight knit community, the parental support is instrumental in maintaining the efforts to promote learning outside of the classroom. The success of our parent-teacher collaboration and support is evident in the increased confidence, eagerness and improvement in my students. Despite many prior attempts to secure additional technological resources, I have been unsuccessful in receiving the additional tools that would allow my students to excel even more. Although the administration and faculty of my school support the integration of technology within our classrooms, we simply have not been able to secure the necessary funding to purchase items such as iPads. I have a passion for learning and teaching our children and I believe in the benefits that integrated technology tools can provide.
