With the transition to our new current standards, technology literacy is in high demand. There are many educational resources available online that my students do not have access to due to limited technology in the classroom. Providing my students with Fire Tablets to use in the classroom will increase collaboration, encourage individual learning, improves knowledge retention, and promotes lifelong skills with using technology. My students would use these tablets to read articles, collaborate on assignments with peers, and to access their digital textbook materials. Many of their digital curriculum resources will customize their assignments according to their individual level. Increasing the technology in the classroom, will ensure that my students have a hands-on experience with a digital tool each day!
