My students all have different skills they need to practice and master. These students have the most success when given one on one instruction or instruction using technology. They receive laptops through the school, however many of these students cannot use laptops. There are many programs available on iPads that helps these student practice math, literacy, independent living skills, social skills, and their motor skills. By having iPads, these students can work independently on improving their goals, when there is not a teacher or paraprofessional available to help them. There are many times I have several students in my room at a time working on very different skills. Plus they get practice using technology which is important in today's world.
