Preparing for college entrance exams can be stressful, becoming familiar with the format of the exam gives students confidence in their ability and leads to better scores. I am a high school mathematics teacher and the Coordinator of the Mathematics Academy in a large public high school in New York City. I teach students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. Although they are in the same math class, their math proficiency levels vary. Some of them are preparing for the PSAT, some for the SAT, some for the ACT, some for the SAT Subject test, and some for Compass test(a college placement test).
