These students come from an inner city urban school district where 85% of them are on free and reduced lunch. They do not have the means to purchase materials for projects as other students do in other schools. The district also does not have the funds to purchase a bunch of materials like these. These students really want to learn, be engaged in their learning, and actually applying what they have learned in class. These materials will make that learning and application of learning possible.
