A lot of my students are English Language Learners. We start our day with a song and a book. The more they hear me read the more they understand. My students are happy and excited to start the new year. They want to please me. Most of my students have come from difficult home situations. School needs to be a happy, safe, loving place. I pour my heart out to my students.
