My students will come from a cross-section of low income to middle income families. They come into the class nervous and eager to please. They all come in with their own small or big baggage, but they are all looking for attention and love. Some are just beginning to learn how to blend words and are not quite reading as yet. However there are others who are reading higher than some third grade readers. They are funny, energetic, and ready to please. They draw "I love you hearts", colored pictures and very shyly present it to the person who they now consider the other love of their life other than their mother. They are our future...

About my class
