Some of these students can draw and write at such high levels but go home to no family or support. All they have is art. This art class is their sanctuary and these projects are something they really look forward to and are excited about. The students can see the low economic surroundings but want to make their school look more positive and bright. This area really needs things like murals, sculptures and community awareness that brings the hopes up for the children and the community.

About my class
