We have been doing virtual learning since September and we are now moving to the hybrid mode in our classrooms! The standing desk will allow me to keep a safe distance from students and allow me to have all of the necessary technology in one place such as my laptop, second monitor, ELMO (document camera) and curriculum documents close by and easy to access. This will also benefit my students because I will have a place to put my document camera to project lessons onto my white board which will allow my hybrid and virtual students to clearly see my instruction and learning materials. This standing desk will also allow me to work anywhere in the classroom because it is portable.
