My students are ninth graders. Many students struggle with the current math requirements and standards. Class sizes continue to increase and students aren't getting the one on one attention that they want and need to be successful in math. All students come into their first year of high school wanting to be successful, but when they struggle with the material it is hard to stay motivated for the next three years, especially sine math only gets more difficult. All students should get the chance to enjoy math and learn in the way that is best for each individual.

About my class
