The teachers and students at our school have a vision. We want all students to go to college and succeed. Our students come from an area and background that tell them every day that they will not make it. We want to turn that around. We show our students that they are capable and deserving of a college education. In return, they work and strive and show grit. They come to school every day to learn how to succeed. Their determination is inspiring. They come from families that dream of a better future for their children. They struggle with hunger, shelter, English, jobs, and so many other things that they could use as an excuse to allow themselves to fail. But they come to our school because they know that they will be taught, nurtured, respected, and especially because they will be prepared for success. That shared vision of success is the foundation of our school.
