I teach Kindergarten at an elementary charter school in Chicago. Although our students live in a high poverty neighborhood, their energy and desire to learn continuously inspires me! My students love learning through technology! I am constantly surprised by their knowledge and interest in using any form of technology in our classroom. I hope to support their desire to learn with devices they can use on a daily basis. Our world is constantly changing, and I want to prepare these students to be college and career ready. A MacBook Pro in our classroom would allow my students to expand their 21st Century skills when they may not have the same opportunity at home. This is a wonderful way to continue to make learning fun and engaging for students of all backgrounds.
