I teach children with low socioeconomic status. They often come to school without their basic needs met. It is our job to provide a safe and secure learning environment. We have limited space for their supplies and materials. I would like to provide a designated area for each child so he or she may feel nurtured and part of our classroom community. They will feel ownership of their materials and responsibility for their provided space. Chair bags will also aid in classroom management skills where teacher directed time is used most effectively.

About my class
