Anyone who knows me also knows that I was born to be an early elementary teacher: I dreamt of influencing the lives of young students since I myself was a young student, and after a year of teaching dual language kindergarten in a high-need community, I have come to embody what one might think of what they think of a kindergarten teacher. As with any dedicated teacher, my classroom and my students have become what I live, eat, and breathe. I am about to embark upon my second year as a dual-language kindergarten teacher in the same school, and I am extremely excited to meet my new group of students this year (and to visit my group from last year). All 25 students came to be my favorite topic of conversation, and the most frequent content of my dreams, as I did everything in my ability to give them the best education I possibly could, setting them up with a future filled with success and opportunity.
