My classroom is filled with sweet second graders. Just over 80% of our students receive free and reduced lunches. Our community has many unemployed families, migrant worker, ELLs, and those on state aid. Many of our families do not or do not know how to support their children in their learning from home. This is due to a variety of cultural factors.
