My school is located within walking distance to Disneyland. I want school to be one of the "happiest places on earth!" Our students are almost all English Language Learners, who love school. They are eager to learn and we integrate math, science, and history with our common core English language arts standards. We focus on creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking (the "4 C's" for 21st century learning). Our school focuses on respect, responsibility and safety and it is a friendly place for teachers, students, and parents alike. The distinguished practice at our school is technology. I love to do STREAM (science/technology/robotics/engineering/art/math) activities! Most of my students do not have resources at home for "extras" and the projects we do in class are treasured by these scholars and their families. My students are so proud of the projects we do in class.
