Our school serves 360 students within a suburban school district. There are 7 elementary schools, 1 middle school, 1 junior high and 1 high school. We serve the most diverse and economically disadvantaged students compared to the 6 other elementary schools. Even though over 50% of our students participate in Free/Reduced Lunch, our students see themselves as leaders and positive contributors to our school community so that demographic doesn't define our school. We have recently adopted the Leader In Me program that helps teach our students leadership, accountability, adaptability, initiative and self-direction, cross-cultural skills, responsibility, problem solving, communication, creativity, and teamwork.
