Our classroom consists of a group of wonderful kindergarten and 1st grade students who come to school ready to learn. These students have special education learning needs including, Intellectually Disabled, Students with Autism, and Specific Learning Disabilities. I provide a positive learning environment that promotes leadership skills, development of expressive language skills, socialization, and helps students move toward their annual educational goals. They also learn structure, routines, and boundaries within a school environment. Our school is located in a low socioeconomic area and for most of our students, school is where they receive exposure to a positive, safe place where they can learn and grow.
