I have the amazing privilege of working with students with disabilities. The class I teach is called Life Skills. Our goal is to help students with disabilities learn "life skills" to aide them in daily life. Some students are learning self-help skills such as how to dress and wash themselves. Other students are learning skills to live in adult facilities. These skills include washing dishes and doing the laundry. Still other students are learning skills to get a job such as filing out applications and learning to run a vacuum. There is such a wide range of skill mastery in my classroom. However, no one skill is less or more than another. Each student in my class will achieve great things. Thank you for taking the time to look into our projects. With the variety of needs and the amount of differentiation for each student to achieve success, the task of purchasing items can be daunting. Thanks!
