Our school has a very sweet spirit and students are eager to learn! This is the first year our school has had a full time music teacher, and it is the first year they will be tested in Music Education according to the Georgia Music Standards in Education. Our classroom is not equipped to help them succeed in meeting these standards, nor is it equipped for them to fully enjoy the experience of music and all that music can help to instill in them, like self confidence, a sense of exploration and discovery, an internal sense of time and rhythm, and a sensitivity to the world around them. We are hoping to better equip the classroom that has been provided and thus offer the students full opportunities to engage in the music classroom.

About my class
