I teach high school students how to access the digital catalog to find print books, access e-books, research and prepare properly formatted MLA papers! In addition, our library runs the Maker Club meetings (so far we have learned stamp embossing to create cards for children at Dell Children's Hospital, created artwork with watercolor color pencils, and begun programming drones with iPads and Tickle block programming!). We also host the Anime, Chess and Gamer clubs in the library. As I learn how to run a Maker Club and come up with new ideas, I would like to stock our maker-shelf with various tools & supplies so students can feel comfortable coming to create: anything anytime (unless it's class time! then they need a pass - and to be getting an A!) Over 80% of our students qualify for free & reduced lunch, and as a librarian, I hope to meet many of their needs! Your help will help :)
