The tablets and books that I am requesting for my students will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use new technology! The tablets will provide endless possibilities for literary growth. The books will be used for read alouds, partner reading, independent reading, and a listening station. The books will be a great addition to our classroom library. My students need the tablets to access various apps that focus on letter recognition, sound recognition, decoding and other reading skills to become master readers. This would not only provide them with a tool for learning, it would also give me a pathway to individualize their learning to meet the needs of each child. Your generous donation to our project will improve our classroom and community by building a solid foundation that they can stand on for years to come. We just need your help to make this project a reality!
