We are a K-8 school that services students that come from low-socio-economic families and who qualify for free breakfast and lunch. Many of our families struggle to make ends meet, have single parent homes, and are not able to provide many of the supplies their child needs at school. My students come to school hungry and eager to learn and are so excited to participate and make new friends. We are a Kid At Hope school which means we instill in each child that we believe in them, they can learn, and be successful. Everyday we recite the Kid At Hope pledge. Teachers are referred to as Treasure Hunters and the students are the treasure. Our administrators are very involved and positive and make sure all the students know they care. They connect with students in the classroom and throughout the campus.
