My students have asked for more options for seating in the classroom. Although I have purchased a few different seating options, there isn't enough for everyone to be able to use. Students have asked me "When will it be my turn to use those?" They realize that not everyone sits and learns in the same manner. Children have extremely short attention spans, especially when they have to sit still. Though my students try their best to focus on the lessons, they can not help, but become distracted as the need to move their bodies takes over. My students often expressed that they wished the classroom had rocking chairs. It would make learning more fun, they say. Hokki stools and seating balls to the rescue! These alternative seating options will allow the children to wiggle and move around as they sit, listen and work happily!
