Our classroom is made up of a diverse group of learners that come from a variety of backgrounds. Our students come on all different learning levels, but with the same hunger to learn! They come from oil field and military families. Through the use of rich literature on all different reading levels, each and every student can find a book that they are passionate about, and therefore love. Our public, Title I school is found in a suburban Alaska. We work hard to provide our students with literature and learning experiences that will make them into lifelong learners. Students will be thrilled to get new books! My students will use these new books during independent reading time to enjoy quiet time reading by themselves. My students will also check these books out to take home and read with their families.
