Whether our students are in the classroom or at their kitchen tables, they have big imaginations, innate curiosity, and a desire to explore and take risks. We have previously designed and implemented a vibrant STEM curriculum, that is now stale, repetitive and teacher-centric. We will change this paradigm by embracing new equipment and materials, and approaches to curriculum that place students at the center and honor their preferred learning styles. Putting down the screens and experimenting with design ideas and prototypes actively and collaboratively. All we need are the resources to tap into them. The LEGO Education SPIKE Prime Core and Expansion Sets provide a hands-on learning medium for building ideas and models while practicing important skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity - the experiences our students crave. Easily adaptable to fit our constantly changing learning environments, SPIKE Prime will help build our students' critical thinking, resilience and independence - essential skills for future success - develop our students' confidence in STEM concepts via learning through play.
