My Intensive Reading classroom facilitate the learning of students in grades 11th & 12th to achieve a passing or acceptable score on the NEW SAT or ACT. All of my assigned students have not (yet) satisfied their college-readiness high school graduation requirement in Reading. The vast majority of my students lack background knowledge, comprehension & vocabulary skills along with test-taking strategies. My school is a Title I secondary school that serves grades 9-12 with diverse ethnic backgrounds. Daily, our students receive a 100% free breakfast and lunch.
