I have the best students! Peabody Veterans Memorial High School is a Title 1 school on the north shore of Massachusetts. Our student body is very diverse and our school has many opportunities for them all. In my own classroom, I teach all high school grade levels. I teach 3 different science classes at 3 different levels. Every day is different, has its own set of challenges, and provides me with new opportunities to help my students recognize the strengths they have. Learning (and teaching) is the most fun when it is active! I feel lucky to be a science teacher, where hands-on exploration is part of the subject. My students love to learn how to use the tools of the field, from dusting for fingerprints in Forensics, to taking blood pressures in Anatomy. They are enthusiastic and motivated.
