My school has some of the best and brightest students around! Unfortunately, there aren't as many resources available to them to help them adequately prepare for all the demands and challenges of what they are expected to show on their state tests. Most students are on free/reduced lunches, and don't have the resources to be able to access technology from anywhere else but school. With more and more of their testing being online, it is vital that they not only know how to maneuver around the devices they'll be expected to use, but to also be able to practice skills in multiple formats on these devices. With such a wide range of reading levels in my room, I want to have a variety of classroom library books to not only have choice at most/all levels represented in my classroom, but to also promote the love of reading and lifelong learning.
