Your generous donation will make technology based learning more accessible for students who really need to be engaged in different ways, specifically more visually. Breaking down complex texts and presenting the big ideas help students with conceptualizing historical thinking. I make a point of using authentically historical documents, photographs, maps, story boards/ presentations, and historical/ international films to make history come alive right before them. My students need a projector with WIFI technology that will enable them to study and analyze past history and make connections to the global present. This will help them to support their learning and lead to more student-led research. The requested fold out chairs will also help form smaller groups for cooperative learning. With this funding they will be able to identify analyze multiple perspectives, understand major patterns and social movements in global history, break down barriers and develop a sense of empathy.
