My school has many students who receive free lunch and get breakfast only because of our school breakfast program. In my class of 25 students, three received food to take home for the week-end to help avoid hunger when school is closed. Some of the students in my class come from middle class backgrounds, however, most students in my class do not have parents who have attended college. Very few students have two parent households.
