Hello Donors, I am a 5th grade teacher at an International Baccalaureate (IB) and STEM public school at Harvard Elementary in Houston Texas. I have been at Harvard for 7 years. I began my career as a Special Education Resource Aide. Throughout the years I've explored various positions within the same school and have found my place/love for teaching 5th grade. My students have inspired me to be more like them. A person who is open-minded and willing to get lost in a mythological adventure book, to ignore my own artistic limitations and to just create anyway (using any type of medium), and to remain diligent, despite any challenges that may come in my way. They truly bring the best out of me. I can't think of a better way to spend my days then with a group of innovative, creative, and genuine thinkers.
