My school is a large elementary school, servicing roughly 600 students, grades K1 - 5. Our students and their families reflect the diversity of the surrounding neighborhoods in ethnicity, culture, language and financial means. My classroom is made up of twelve motivated, hard-working, energetic students with learning disabilities. Their disabilities affect the ways in which they process, retain, share information, behave and socialize. Some of students have also been diagnosed with ADHD and require occupational therapy.
