My students are from a high poverty area. They simply do not have things to do when they leave school. I would like to start a knitting and crocheting club, so after school I can provide an activity one day a week so they have a safe place to be after school. My students are nice and are willing to work hard at activities. I want to give them something non-academic to do after school.
