I once read that without teachers, there would be no other professions. Even though my elementary students are not yet old enough to understand the full context of this saying, I know that each one of my students has a great future ahead of him or her. I strive to make each day new and for each student to understand how much I desire for them to enjoy learning, whether it's formal classroom instruction or learning through others. Parents send me their prized possession each day and I hope that when I reflect back on my time in the classroom, I'm able to know that I did what was best for each and every one of their children.
