I have a very diverse class ethnically, culturally, and economically. Most of them come from families where both parents are working and do not have the opportunity to come and help in the classroom or on field trips. Some do not even have the use of a computer at home. Although our school is located in a middle income community, it is more diverse than some of our neighboring schools. Our school is also known for how well our teachers collaborate and communicate across the grade levels.
