The kids are growing readers, writers, mathematicians, artists and scientists. We are in a mid-size public school district in a small city in Northwest Washington. Our school is wonderfully diverse with kids from homes of every kind. We are a Title 1 school and more than 60% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Many have stories that are hard to hear. But, all of them have so much to give.
