The Lego Learning System is a series of mini classroom projects that work together to deliver engaging, hands on STEAM learning experiences for students. Lego Education combines standards aligned units using Legos, and coding to create limitless possibilities for a playful STEAM learning experience. This project will create opportunities for students to benefit from purposeful play. Purposeful play can help address equity challenges. Creating experiences where students can learn through play provides a safe space for students to create ways of thinking that will benefit them for life. I feel strongly that learning through play can close achievement gaps between students from more and less advantaged groups and help students develop important skills they will need to succeed in life.
