My students have a range of abilities. We are a fully inclusive classroom which means that all students (ranging from ones who have identified learning disabilities to ones that are identified as being gifted and talented) are in my classroom at all times. Since my students have varied academic needs, most of my teaching is done in small groups where students are working with material on their level in order to support all individual needs. Our learning community is diverse and collaborative. We celebrate all of our successes large and small. Students encourage and praise each other to help motivate their peers. Each day we set out to meet our objectives together and we work hard until that happens. It doesn't matter if a student has a learning disability, we put supports in place so all students are successful each and every day. We are a team!
