When students are presented with rigorous content in an engaging and exciting way, it becomes a unique and powerful learning experience. I have recently completed a bakery themed room transformation in my classroom, and the results were incredible! I was amazed at the effort students put into their work, simply because they were completely engaged. They worked harder than they ever have, cheered on their classmates and had so much fun! I want to create an experience that my students will never forget! The materials I have asked for will be used to create a unique and engaging experience for my third graders...the GLOW GAMES! I will use the paper and lights to create a room transformation that my students will remember forever! They will use the highlighters, and glasses to get their NEON read on! The games will be used to create centers where students review and practice what they have learned while celebrating their success in an unforgettable way!
