Support Mrs. Wolf's classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
We were thrust into remote learning in March and accepted our new normal, and as we continue to engage in remote learning for the new school year and reflect on our distant learning instruction, a headset with a boom mic is one accessory for the laptops that would have better supported learning. A headset with boom would have benefited the students in our synchronous instruction to enable our students to clearly hear one another during our class discussions and when scholars were providing feedback. The headsets will support and continue to build classroom community and will empower, enable, and support our ESL learners to effectively hear language modeled, and enable our most shy students to be heard. These headsets will block out distractions and ensure that students remain fully engaged in synchronous instruction. Learning from home can be a challenge and quite distracting in and of itself, with other siblings working at the same time. These headsets will also ensure that our students will not distract their siblings as they are learning. The headsets with boom mics will also allow teachers and students to hear one another clearly during instruction. Although we are socially apart we can continue to support our virtual classroom community.
